'Field's' style is whimsical + eclectic: combining the best of our native, perennial and annual blooms and foliage at time of receiving your order...
our story
our merge into being flower farmers, started over 'lockdown' 2020. several decisions led us to realise how satisfying it was to share flowers from our property [just outside of torquay on the surfcoast], and the urge to launch this small business and provide local, seasonal flowers, grew.
every season surprises and delights us with new possibilities. dont hesitate to ask if we can accomodate your flower ideas (;
thanks so much for visiting us here

A whimsical, artisanal vibe 🌿
![[Slightly fractured] Snippets from a translation of ‘Memoires d’jeune fille rangée… kindly shared with me many years ago, by the amazing French Grandmother of a child I taught.
This piece of paper, tatty and marked has lived in my diary year by year since.
Oh, what we might learn from nature 🌿
What a dream this space is as we move through Spring. Just Gold.

![1. Hand tying a bouquet of native flowers is a whole new skill set.
2. These big boughs are HEAVY!
3. You have to be very strategic, and sacrifice a decent chunk of a branch to get a workable stem length [hello banksias!]
4. They are sooooo beautiful. Reminded that Natives were my original ‘plan’…if only they didn’t take SO long to grow.
I want to learn more about taming these guys in arrangements. Tips?](https://instagram.ftlv23-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t51.82787-15/724004903_18060608951705972_2999555036129091832_n.jpg?stp=dst-jpg_e35_tt6&_nc_cat=110&_nc_map=urlgen_bucketless&ccb=7-5&_nc_sid=18de74&efg=eyJlZmdfdGFnIjoiQ0xJUFMuYmVzdF9pbWFnZV91cmxnZW4uQzMifQ%3D%3D&_nc_ohc=nOmwhM1M-kwQ7kNvwEaRHLP&_nc_oc=AdpYbyg3fT-3OUFXJHXH5QfdOSnw3Pkz_9piLFH_HKtEQ1jZN6Ki44ZG-vOfKMK3yjE&_nc_zt=23&_nc_ht=instagram.ftlv23-1.fna&edm=ANo9K5cEAAAA&_nc_gid=f7sAoCIHH73_KN-c1h-IBQ&_nc_tpa=Q5bMBQLkNv3gwbH_RGunuQNo9U5ybinpg1LS2SdaITHnWQDmBMpDOif7Z-6lX5rcQXhhzX7zqPwf_FGp&oh=00_AQOaJLm0wyT23EyzB_xnAWar9rdzyA5tk_VB4AdugzUv-Q&oe=6AD15FB0)
